I've been working at my hometown's public office for about two years. Honestly, I've been working at the office as one of the public welfare agents insead of performing military service as a soldier of the army. The reason why I' rendering my service not at military but at public office of my local community is because I got a little poor rate at a physical examination of military. Yes, I've suffered from the back pain for a while, and that's why I got that rate at the examination. At that time, I thought that it would be a wonderful opportunity to cure my week spine and develop myself during spending time as a public welfare agent. You know, these days almost every guy is afraid of going to the military, given that it is mandatory as well as considered as a waste of the time for about two years. In that regard, I think that my situation could be a unexpected chance comparing to other men in Korea. So scores of my guy friends used to tell me, "You're so lucky. I envy you." And before I knew it, the end of my military is just around a corner. My old week spine has become a quite strong and I could eliminate my back pain. I got some English certifications while I worked at this place, I mean, I could develop my English speaking skill enough to be able to talk foreigners in English. Moreover I could have much time to deeply think of my dream of future, being a car boffin or a car designer like Christopher Edward Bangle who was a chief designer of BMW auto-making company once. But I'm not to say that there have been always good things for performing military at here.

I could recognize that it's obvious there are no purposes, motivations and stuff like that in the almost every part of the government employees' society. Most of them have entered for an exam of the government employee because they didn't find the better jobs than the public servants. In other words, in the prime of the youth, they didn't want to dream about their own future job. You know they are sort of used to settle for the present. Just about every government employees are lack of motivating factors like passion, tenacity, challenge or something like that. I could knew that the importance of having my own dream of future by having seen them for rendering my service at here. I could be the greatest car designer or I'm a Dutchman.

Issue. Some people think that Newspaper Companies do not always provide good articles because of managerial problems related to offering their articles for free on the Internet. Do you agree with this?

No, I don't agree with this. But I'm not to say they always provide good articles. I'd say before I experienced Wikipedia, I did believe that articles written by those Internet Newspapers cannot help depending on the advertisement, contribution or something like that. But these days, not a few Newspaper Companies based on the internet are becoming the popular social hubs for every general publics. Those internet newspapers are represented by Wikipedia, Ohmynews, Blogger and stuff like that. Even though they're all nonprofit organizations, we can see a variety of the freshest news through them. Countless of netizens continuously write news and those news are gone through thousands of revisions by other netizens. I mean, everyone is editor. Some are experts but others are not. So if someone first write a news on those web sites, many people add more information about it and fix it. You know those series of group activities make a good news. That's why there's no advertisement on the wikinews or twitter.
A news can be made by many people who're willing to share their own idea, data or something. And Since the mechanism of those internet newspaper closely resemble in Democracy, most of the case they're pretty reliable and convincing. Like what....Google. Google pursues an open source. It's called group intelligence.

1. Which section do you have the greatest interest in when you read newpapers?

Since I'm a car fanatic, a section I always look at the most carefully is a car and technology. Actually I'm subscribing three kinds of car magazines monthly. In additoin, I'm following some reporters and journalists of famous car magazines on twitter.

2. Do Koreans have a lot of interest in current issues?

Yes, wo do. As you know, Korea is known for its the highest level of high-speed Internet penetration in the world, so just about every Korean is really familiar to read the recent articles on the internet whoever he/she is very young or very old. So it is very natural for us to share personal ideas about current issues on the internet. For example, the number of users of twitter and cyworld is almost 40 million which is nine tenth of total population of South Korea.

3. If you want to spread your opinion quickly, what is the best way to tell the public?

For starters, I'm gonna write a mention on twitter, and then link it to my blog. By posting my opinion on my blog, I can express my own point of view about something very effectively. Plus I'll send a feed to many popular metablogs and social internet web sites like Facebook, Cywold, Wikinews, Lockerz like that. You know what, if I can expose my idea to just ten persons on twitter, almost half million people can read it. So I'd say it's the quickest way to spread my own opinion to others. Most of all, it's free! All I have to do is just to type a keyboard and click a mouse. And these days, I can quickly share my opinion more than ever with my smart phone.

Issue. Some poeple argue that an arranged marriage is better than a love match. Do you agree with this?

Yes, I agree with this. An unarraged marriage uaually causes some problems that are really hard to overcome during married life, like financial unstability or something like that. So it's really obvious it's so important to prepare marriage in terms of financial stability or spritual health.
I mean, love is the most essential factor for marriage, yet if we want to have a "happily-ever-after" life, to a certain extent, we should be financially stable. I'd say any factor is not a completely ignorable factor, so I think that's why getting married is kind of difficult these days.

1. Where did you get married? If you are not married yet, where would you want to have your marriage ceremony?

Since I'm a Catholic, I'd like to have my marriage ceremony at the Church. But it can be changed according to who my marriage partner will be in the future. I want to get married with my partner under the god's blessing. But these days not a few women in Korea only stick to have a marriage ceremony at a place which is full of vanity and fancy....like what.... very luxurious hotel or something. I think it's just mundane, boring thing everybody wants to do. When I see persons who madly look for very expensive place for their own marriage ceremony, I even think that they want to marry for the purpose of not congratulating their marriage, but showing their extravagant wedding ceremony to others.

2. Why are there so many match-making companies thriving in Korea?

Well actually I don't understand why people make their marriage partners with that companies, even though a personal choise is the most important. Anyway I just vaguely assume that is one of the flows of capitalism, called specializing. You know, in a capitalized economy many fields has been being departmentalized and each member of society has been being specialized in their own skills or jobs. Actually departmentalizing and specializing can bring a synergy effect. So in that regard, people are shifting their jobs related to marriage onto the match-making companies.

3. What is the most important criteria to choose your marriage partner?

I'm human too, and foremost, I'm a man so I do like a pretty woman. But I'm tend to figure out this and that when I choose my marriage partner. For example, positive mind, same religion with me, a family like that. So I can say I'm a little picky boy.
But you know what, the girls who I've ever met so far were not completely matched my ideal type. I've usually fallen in love with a girl unconsciously, I mean, I cannot help being charmed with love even though she was not my ideal type. I'd say "Love has always blinded me." You know it's called "Bean pods are on the eyes." in Korea.
